As we expand, we are seeking motivated Independent Roofing Sales Representatives to help us scale and serve more homeowners in need of roof replacements and storm damage repairs.
Your Mission:
As an Independent Roofing Sales Rep, you will be the driving force behind our revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for identifying potential customers, conducting roof inspections, presenting estimates, and closing deals. This is a high-commission, high-autonomy role perfect for someone with hustle, resilience, and strong people skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new roofing leads (canvassing, referrals, storm-affected areas, etc.)
- Inspect residential roofs for hail, wind, or age-related damage
- Educate homeowners on their roofing options, including insurance claims and financing
- Create and present detailed estimates and close the sale
- Coordinate with our internal team to ensure a smooth project handoff and customer satisfaction
- Track leads and deals through our CRM system
- Represent the Blacktop Paint & Roof brand with professionalism and integrity
Qualifications:
- Proven Sales Experience – Roofing, home services, or door-to-door experience is a strong plus
- Self-Motivated – You’re a go-getter who thrives with independence and accountability
- Excellent Communication & Negotiation Skills – You know how to build trust and close deals
- Resilient & Results-Driven – You’re comfortable with rejection and stay focused on your goals
- Reliable Transportation & Smartphone – You’ll be traveling to neighborhoods and job sites
- Familiarity with Insurance Claims Process is a bonus
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
